Analytics
Analytics show how visitors use your published map — how many sessions it gets, which locations draw the most interest, and what devices people view it on.
Analytics are only available with the Professional plan. On other maps the Analytics tab prompts you to activate a Professional slot. View pricing for details.
Enabling analytics
Analytics are off by default. Open the Analytics tab on a Professional map and turn on Enable analytics. From then on, Mapplic records a session each time someone views the published map, along with the interactions they make (such as opening a location), and aggregates them by day.
Choosing a date range
A date-range selector controls the period shown. It offers a set of presets plus a custom range, and data is available up to two years back.
| Range | Description |
|---|---|
| Yesterday | The previous day. |
| Last 7 Days | The trailing week. This is the default. |
| Last 30 Days | The trailing month. |
| This Month / Last Month | The current or previous calendar month. |
| Year to Date | January 1st through today. |
| Custom | Any start and end date you pick. |
What you can see
The dashboard is built from several widgets:
| Widget | Shows |
|---|---|
| Devices | A breakdown of sessions across Mobile, Kiosk, and Desktop. |
| Statistics | Total sessions, interactions per session, and average session duration. |
| All interactions | The total interaction count, with a daily trend chart. |
| Top locations | The ten most-opened locations. |
| Trending groups | Groups ranked by interaction count. |
If there is no data for the selected period, the dashboard shows No data in selected time period.
Printing a report
The Print action exports the current dashboard — for the selected date range — as a printable report you can save as a PDF or hand off to a stakeholder.
