Directory
Mapplic includes an integrated, filterable directory of locations that offers diverse configurations and layouts to meet a wide range of requirements.
Layout-related settings, such as landscape/portrait mode, container/sidebar size, display type (list/grid), and the number of columns, can be found within the responsivity section of the Settings panel.

Groups
Groups are used to categorize locations and enable advanced filtering. After defining a group, locations can be assigned to it through the group location property.
Groups can be reordered using drag-and-drop.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Name * | Unique group name. Used as the display name unless Title is set. |
| Title | Optional, translatable display name shown to visitors. |
| Color | Hex color of the group. If not set, dark gray will be used. |
| Icon | Optional icon representing the group. |
| Hide | Hide the group from the filter. |
Search and filters
The directory works hand in hand with search and filters: matching locations are listed here and highlighted on the map. Text search, filter visibility, and all five filter types are documented in the Filters & Search guide.
